Our Mission

“We are youth who seek to live out the Christian Gospel radically and faithfully. We will love God, spread God’s word, work with and serve others, and seek to grow deeper in our faith.”

This mission statement, which was established in 2015, is how we approach each event, trip, Bible study lesson, and time together at FBC, Laurinburg.

Youth - Christmas Party

The student ministry at First Baptist Church, Laurinburg seeks to equip students for the lifelong adventure of knowing and following Jesus. Our student ministry seeks to be a safe place where 6th-12th grade students operate out of the following mission statement that was established in 2015:

When We Meet

Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m., middle and high school students meet in the youth area for our weekly Sunday School time.
Sunday evenings from 5:30 – 7:15, middle school and high school students meet for a time of games, fellowship, dinner, and Bible study.

Wednesday evenings students gather at 6:00 p.m. in the youth area for games and a devotion.
Building community is an important part of our student ministry. We build relationships through gatherings, cookouts, camp, retreats, mission work, and more.
